Let your work speak. Get hired for it.
Get ready for your best decade of work. Work Republic is the place to build your case studies and keep your whole career record. Publish an AI that speaks for your work, prove your level, and export a CV when you still need one.
You're right to be skeptical.
What people ask before trusting a new tool with their career, answered without the sales pitch.
Is it really free, or do I hit a paywall when I try to download?
You don't. Building your resume, exporting it as a PDF without a watermark and publishing your page are free, with no card on file and no trial that turns into a charge. What's limited is AI and volume: Free includes 1 resume, 1 tailored version in total, 3 project posts and about 17 AI messages a month in the studio. Pro raises those limits.
See what each plan includesDo I have to retype my whole CV?
No. Upload the PDF you already have and the AI turns it into an editable resume. It reads the text of your file, so give the result a quick check, then keep editing by hand or with the AI.
Will the AI make things up or make me sound like everyone else?
It's instructed to work only from what you've actually done: no invented jobs, tools or numbers. When a claim is missing its evidence, it asks you instead of filling the gap. And nothing changes on its own: every edit arrives as a proposal you accept or reject. It can still get things wrong, so read a suggestion before you accept it.
Why not just use ChatGPT and a template?
For one document, you can. But a chat only knows what you paste into it. Here the AI works from your whole record (every role, project and note you've added), so tailoring to a new job means picking the right evidence, not rewriting from scratch. It also does what a chat can't: the layout, the one-page fit, the public page and the agent that answers for you.
Will the PDF get through an ATS?
It's built to be parsed: one column, real text instead of an image, and a type size that stays readable when the resume is fitted to one page. No layout can promise a result, though. What usually sinks an application is content that doesn't match the role, and that's what tailoring to the job description is for.
Recruiters ask for a PDF. Why would they open a link?
Some won't, and that's fine: you still export a one-page PDF for every form that wants a file. The link is for the ones who want more than a page. It opens in any browser without signing up, shows the projects behind your claims, and lets them ask a question instead of guessing.
An AI that answers recruiters for me? What if it gets something wrong?
Your agent answers from what you've published plus the notes and context you've given the AI, and it's told to say it doesn't know rather than guess. It's set up not to share contact details you haven't published. One thing to know: anything you tell the AI in your studio can come up in its answers, so leave out what you wouldn't tell a recruiter. Unpublishing switches it off at once.
Who can see my profile? Could my current employer find it?
Nothing is public until you publish, and your salary expectations, availability, AI conversations and scores never appear on your page. Once you do publish, it's public for real: anyone can open it and search engines can index it, so yes, an employer who looks could find it. Unpublishing takes it down within minutes. Tailored applications work differently: only people with the link can open them, and they're kept out of search engines.
See what becomes publicIs my data used to train AI? Can I delete it?
We don't train AI models on your content, we don't sell your data and we don't show ads. The AI runs on third-party providers through paid access whose terms don't let them train on what we send. You can delete your account from Settings whenever you want: it's immediate and removes your resumes, notes, conversations and uploads. The Privacy Policy lists the few records that remain, and why.
